UN reports no damage from #emily in #haiti.
Tropical Storm Emily, which formed in the Caribbean and was headed towards Haiti and Florida, degenerated into a low pressure trough.
The heavy rain means that Haiti is still in danger of flooding, while hundreds of thousands of people lack proper shelter and are living in tents since the 2010 earthquake.
Emily's slow motion and forecasted NW turn is not welcome news for DR or Haiti. Forecasts of up to 20" of rain appear on target.
